Submitting an image digitally is an advantage if your image was taken with a digital camera or the image has been altered or created digitally. If this is not the case or if your digital knowledge is limited, we encourage you to send us your hard copy photograph or print. We do not charge to scan, our scanners are very high quality and our expertise is great! Because electronically transferring graphics files is inherently unreliable, we cannot accept responsibility for the quality of your image, text, missing fonts or omissions or errors in files. ONLINE ORDER GUIDELINES:

The image should be a minimum of 300 dpi at final size (100%) for the best reproduction. Images that must be increased in size to fit a layout will decrease the dpi and lessen the quality of your prints dramatically. The quality and size of your file submission will determine the quality of your prints.

Before submission, double check all typesetting and grammar and verify that graphics and fonts are saved. We cannot be held responsible for omissions. Include a copy of all screen and printer fonts used in documents and EPS files. We are Mac based and do not accept PC fonts. Please use Postscript Type 1 fonts and refrain from using True Type fonts. Please avoid the use of web based graphics.

All bleed images must include an extra 1/16'' for cutting purposes. At least a 5/16" border is required on all bordered prints. Borders more narrow than 5/16” will incur a special cut charge of $10

For color jobs, prepare all color graphics and photos in CMYK. All RGB color files must be converted to CMYK format, which can affect the colors. Please submit B/W images in grayscale.
AS A GUIDE: To avoid harsh breaks in the image, verify that your maximum highlight areas read at least 5%. To avoid images that appear gray and flat, verify that your maximum shadow areas read at least 95%. Do not assume that we will make automatic changes to contrast/color without a guide print or specific instructions.

Be aware that colors and grayscale densities may not be accurately reflected by your monitor, laser or ink jet prints.

Please build your page layout to desired finished size. Cropping and resizing may be necessary if the layout is not built to finished size. Please allow reasonable latitude to make necessary adjustments in cropping, sizing and arrangement of pictures, lettering and logos.

All copy written images should be accompanied by a written release from the copyright holder. The release may be submitted online or sent via email, fax, or mail. The customer assumes full responsibility for insuring that no copyright infringement occurs and agrees to protect and indemnify ABC Pictures, Inc. against all claims alleging copyright infringement.

Online orders follow the same turn around time as other orders. Processing Time/Shipping

If your internet service provider does not provide services for large graphics file uploads, please find a service bureau in your area or submit the order on disk. We cannot pull images from web sites for reproductions. Please do not direct us to a site to download your graphics file. We only accept files uploaded from from this online process or from our FTP site.

Please submit one emailed order at a time.

Orders will not be printed without payment.

Please DO NOT use this process to send us instructions for mail-in orders. Please use the Printable Order Form and include it with your mail-in order.

Tiff
EPS
Quark 6.5 or below (Include all linked files and fonts used in document)
JPEG (We need at least 300 dpi at final size (100%) to achieve the best reproduction)
Photoshop CS2 or below
Illustrator CS2 or below
PDF (Acrobat 7.0 or below-Send layout as a finished piece. Please include all of your settings)

We recommend not using compression programs.

Note: The maximum files upload per online order is 30 megabytes. If your collection of files for this order totals larger than 30 megabytes, you can mail the files to us on cd or send them to our FTP site. Please call us toll-free 1-888-526 -5336
